Gateway Access Service

Our Gateway Access Service (GAS) delivers low-cost business and residential Internet access using Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet (PPPoE). Based on asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) technology, this service provides access to high-speed Internet access, remote LAN activity and other applications over a customer’s existing telephone lines. And unlike cable-based Internet, our dedicated loop prevents degraded performance when other users are online at the same time.

GAS is available on two different platforms – copper and fibre-based networks – so you can meet the needs of all your customers, including those using standard legacy equipment.

GAS also offers:

Download speeds up to 100 Mbps downstream for residential customers and up to 50 Mbps downstream for business customers
